Anime has been around for along time. Anime has not only been popular in Japan, but America as well. Astro Boy, Speed Racer, and Gigantor was some of the first anime to be shown in America. All the anime of today was infleuenced by Walt Disney. It was influenced by Disney's style of large expressive features.
